- I have the best family in the world. My parents provided me with the best home life; I never lacked anything. My dad has fixed my various cars more times than I can count; they both fix everything. Always have. Mom works so hard to make everyone else happy and so often we still complain. She's the best, though.
Those hiking and camping trips we went on, the ones you probably thought we were bored the whole time? I miss them. I miss putting up our tent in the backyard and having dad come out and tell us silly stories that scared me to death back then. A few days ago I was thinking about wrapping paper. A different ending could have been terrifying but instead it what probably our favorite story.
I miss driving in the car for hours on end; having to sleep in those seats; eating mushed up chicken salad sandwhiches. I miss playing Yoshi. I miss all my sibblings being together. I miss playing 500. I miss playing Hearts.
We grow up, and things change, and some things get better, and some things are missed. I miss my family, the way it was, and will never be again. I guess that's part of growing up. But I still want to say, Thank You, Mom and Dad. Thank you, Dave, and Jenn, and Katie. What a great life this has been.

. . . . I'm crying now. That was so sweet. . . . I miss it too. . . Hopefully it gets better. . .
Yes, I miss it too. But those days are not gone completely. There will be more good times. We will always be together, and we will add more to our family. God has been so good to all of us, especially me. That was a very nice post. Love, Dad
I miss it all too. Now, though, you are all gone. /sigh Things are so boring around here.
Our parents are the best.
Love you, Mike, and all of you.
